Mill Road

The highly insulated timber frame extension replaced a poorly built conservatory and lean to, previously housing an isolated kitchen.

At ground floor level, we created a new open plan space that is tailored to modern day family living. On the first floor, an additional bedroom, en-suite and walk in wardrobe was created.

The stepped extension is predominantly clad in Shou Sugi Ban charred Accoya cladding, with the first floor being set back slightly to create an oak clad overhang complete with VM Zinc reveals.

Other notable features on this project include the oak lined oriel window seat and micro-cement floor complete with shadow gap detailing.
